The first of all Stavatti aerospace divisions, the military aerospace group precedes Stavatti Corporation by five years when work began on aircraft that evolved into the SM-36 Stalma: the principal program of Stavatti from 1994 through 2005. The most prolific division of Stavatti, Military Aerospace is unique to the industry, conducting the majority of new military aerospace development programs as privately sponsored, Internal Research and Development commercial ventures to satisfy anticipated defense needs. A practitioner of Selling What We Make, Stavatti Military Aerospace develops products for Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) to allied customers of the United States as approved by the State Department-Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). Stavatti Military Aerospace focuses upon two primary sectors: Tactical Military Aerospace and Strategic Military Aerospace.
Stavatti is now producing legacy military aircraft while also developing a variety of next generation combat aircraft to satisfy the needs of NATO and US allied air forces. Stavatti can offer both existing military aircraft as well as next generation, cutting edge solutions that will offer superior performance, greater efficiency, reduced maintainability and lower flyaway, operating and total lifetime costs than military aircraft provided by other manufacturers. Tactical
Instantaneous air defense.
Stavatti Tactical Military Aerospace is responsible for the design and anticipated production of military aircraft and air weapon systems to satisfy tactical mission requirements. Tactical combat missions have an immediate connection to a battlefield activity. Often conducted against a direct enemy threat, tactical combat missions are traditionally flown by fighters and attack aircraft.
The primary mission of the fighter is to achieve air superiority over the battlefield. The primary mission of the attack aircraft is to engage enemy surface forces and provide battlefield support, typically through the delivery of air-to-ground ordnance.
Stavatti Tactical Aircraft include both land and Navy carrier based aircraft as well as piloted and unpiloted autonomous and remotely piloted aircraft. Responsible for ensuring instantaneous air defense to preserve national sovereignty and the frontline projection of air power, Stavatti focuses upon the development and production of a wide variety of tactical aircraft.
Tactical aircraft that Stavatti is developing and will produce include: Multi-Role Fighter (MRF), Light Weight Fighter (LWF), Air Superiority Fighter (ASF), Air Dominance Fighter (ADF), Close Air Support (CAS), COunter INsurgency (COIN), Forward Air Control (FAC), Basic Trainer (BT), Advanced Trainer (AT), Supersonic Trainer (ST), Lead-In Fighter (LIF), Tactical Airlifter (TA), Tactical Reconnaissance (TR) and Space Superiority Fighters (SSFs).
Strategic
Quench the will to fight.
Stavatti Strategic Military Aerospace is responsible for the design and anticipated production of military aircraft and air weapon systems to satisfy strategic mission requirements. Strategic air warfare includes missions conducted against distant targets located deep within enemy territory. Focused upon the destruction of facilities including factories, airfields, launch complexes, shipyards, railways and material bound for the battlefield, strategic missions strike at the enemy’s infrastructure and industrial capacity.
In so doing, the purpose of strategic missions is to quench the enemy’s will to fight, thereby eliminating the battlefield and the need for tactical warfare. Strategic air warfare has traditionally consisted of bomber aircraft performing bombing missions.
During the Cold War it became apparent that the concept of strategic air warfare as developed during World War II was obsolete, with the term “strategic bombing” becoming synonymous with nuclear bombing. Since the end of the Cold War, strategic air warfare has once again shifted focus to concentrate upon conventional, rather than nuclear bombing. Hence modern strategic air warfare now focuses upon the use of single or mass bombers to deliver precision guided munitions over long range. Spanning the entire military aviation market, Stavatti will produce a variety of strategic aircraft types including Heavy Bombers, Medium Bombers, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Heavy Airlift/Transport, Medium Airlift/Transport, MEDEVAC, Inflight-Refueling Tankers, EW Platforms, C3 Platforms, AWACs Platforms, Strategic Reconnaissance (SR) and Prompt Global Strike (PGS) aircraft.

Stavatti can provide a spectrum of military training aircraft ranging from established, proven platforms to new design, next generation aircraft. Able to immediately deliver legacy aircraft through strategic partnerships, Stavatti is able to provide near-term immediate solutions. Spearheading the future, Stavatti is developing the Stiletto family of Advanced Trainer and Light Fighter aircraft to provide tomorrow with a dynamic supersonic solution.
Stavatti is developing new design attack aircraft. Stavatti’s next generation solution, the Machete family, is now under development to satisfy attack and close air support missions. These rugged aircraft will be highly maneuverable, extremely survivable and will offer pragmatic attack capability.
Stavatti is developing next generation fighter aircraft to satisfy air superiority and air dominance roles. Including both non-stealth fighters for affordable general export as well as sixth generation low-observable aircraft, Stavatti is offering the Stiletto LF Light Fighter, the SM-47 Super Machete Air Defense Fighter, the SM-36 Stalma Multi-Role Fighter and the SM-39 Razor Air Dominance Fighter. Incorporating advanced construction, avionics, sensors, and weaponry, Stavatti fighters will deliver the greatest overall value of any comparable aircraft in their class.

Fighter upgrades
SM-29 Super Fulcrum.
In addition to the development and production of original, new design aircraft, Stavatti is now offering the upgrade of 4th generation fighter aircraft to US allied air forces worldwide. Concentrating upon the upgrade of military aircraft produced by the former Soviet Union, Stavatti can provide comprehensive upgrades of MiG and Sukhoi produced combat aircraft. Principal upgrades include a comprehensive powerplant, sensors, avionics, cockpit environment, electronic warfare systems, weapon systems, wheels and brake and airframe upgrade.
Upgrades also include the installation of Stavatti proprietary Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFTs) that have been engineered specifically to meet the needs of MiG-29 and Su-27 fighter aircraft. Stavatti provided upgrades concentrate upon achieving greater NATO/Allied interoperability, sustainment of the aircraft maintenance and support chain and enhancing the performance capabilities and combat effectiveness of all upgraded fighters. An affordable bridge for nations transitioning from former Soviet to new production Western fighter aircraft, Stavatti upgrades may be performed at Stavatti facilities in the United States or within a Stavatti facility located in the nation where the upgrade is provided.
The SM-29E Super Fulcrum is an enhanced performance MiG-29 Fulcrum aircraft that has been transformationally upgraded by Stavatti Aerospace to the “Super Fulcrum” configuration, allowing the aircraft remain a potent and competitive air defense asset through 2040. The proposed upgrades include installation of new F414 EPE afterburning turbofan engines and re-engineered engine nacelles. The F414 EPE engines will provide greater thrust, lower specific fuel consumption and improve maintainability over the original RD-33 powerplants. The modifications include sensor, avionics and cockpit upgrades including installation of an APG-79 AESA radar, Stavatti proprietary Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFTs), a Large Area Avionics Display (LAAD), a comprehensive internal ECM/EW suite, an upgraded HUD and advanced Hands on Throttle and Stick (HOTAS).
